ELA participants are given an educational opportunity to be a part of activities that will help them learn various skills such as daily living skills and independent living skills. Through continuing education at ELA, participants will maintain and develop further knowledge of money management, food and kitchen safety, community resources and apartment living. Continuing education is generally taught in a classroom setting and implemented in a real-life situation.

 
Such activities include, but are not limited to:
Functional Math
Reading
Keyboarding
Cleaning
Laundry
Apartment safety
Journaling
Cultural Awareness
